In November 2024, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APICC) Australia Arbitration Center was formally approved for establishment in Sydney, Australia. As a key Pacific Rim country and the world’s twelfth-largest economy, Australia has thriving mineral and agricultural export trade, an open investment environment, and a sound legal system. It has established stable economic and trade relations with many countries and regions worldwide, maintaining long-term momentum for stable socioeconomic development. Going forward, the APICC Australia Arbitration Center will actively engage with the regional socioeconomic environment and judicial order, explore demand for commercial dispute resolution in mining, services, manufacturing, and other sectors, and combine APICC’s existing strengths and characteristics to promote economic integration and the stable development of multilateral trade cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.
