In February 2024, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIC) Canada Arbitration Center was formally registered in Vancouver, Canada, becoming APIC’s first arbitration institution in North America. As a developed and culturally diverse North American country, Canada has a comprehensive legal system and international arbitration framework. Drawing on North America’s mature international commercial arbitration system and legal resources, the APIC Canada Arbitration Center makes full use of its professional strengths and expands its services to provide professional, efficient, and high-quality international arbitration legal services to parties in North America and worldwide. It aims to establish stable, harmonious, flexible, and inclusive legal safeguards for international economic and trade cooperation and exchange in the context of economic globalization. Going forward, the APIC Canada Arbitration Center will work closely with other APIC arbitration institutions worldwide to establish a complete, closed-loop international arbitration legal services network and jointly promote the stable development of international commercial arbitration.
